What's on the sheet

The build

Four totals across the top: miles, hours moving, feet climbed, runs. Counted from the first Monday of the block to the start line.

Week by week

One row per week, seven dots per row. Dot size is that day's distance, rest days are a pip. The line down the right edge is weekly volume, so the cutbacks and the taper are right there. Race day is the open circle.

The race

The finish time, set large. The course, traced from your race-day GPS track. Place, field size, climbing and average pace underneath.

How it's made

You see the whole sheet in the browser before anything prints.

  1. Connect a source

Strava, Garmin Connect or Coros. Only runs are read, and only the weeks you ask for.

  2. Name the race

Paste a results link and the finish time, place and field fill themselves in. Every field stays editable.

  3. Choose the block

Anything from 12 to 24 weeks, counted back from race week. The sheet resizes so any length fills it exactly.

Questions, answered

Which apps can I connect?

Blockprint reads runs from Strava, Garmin Connect and Coros. Only runs are read, and only the weeks of the training block you ask for — nothing before it and nothing after race day.

How long a training block can the poster show?

Anything from 12 to 24 weeks, counted back from race week. The sheet resizes so whatever length you pick fills it exactly: one row per week, seven dots per row, one dot per day.

What sizes and finishes are there?

The poster prints at 18 × 24" or 24 × 36", giclée on 200 gsm archival matte paper. Both sizes can also be framed in black ash behind acrylic. There is a digital option too: an animated reel of the block drawing itself in.

How much does a Blockprint poster cost?

The animated reel is $5. A printed poster is $45 at 18 × 24" and $55 at 24 × 36". Framed, it is $130 at 18 × 24" and $185 at 24 × 36". Shipping is included in those prices.

Do I have to pay before I see the poster?

No. You build the sheet and see the whole thing in your browser first, with your own runs on it. Nothing is charged until you have seen it and decided you want it.

What if my race isn't in an online results database?

Paste a results link and the finish time, place and field size fill themselves in, but nothing depends on that. Every field on the poster stays editable, so you can type the race name, date, distance and finish time by hand.

How long does shipping take?

Printed and framed orders leave the printer within five working days and ship to US addresses — the poster rolled in a tube, the framed print packed flat and ready to hang. The animated reel is delivered as two MP4 files, so there is nothing to ship.

What happens to the weeks where I missed runs?

They stay on the poster. Rest days are drawn as a small pip rather than left blank, and the weekly volume line down the right edge shows the cutback weeks and the taper. A training block that reads as honest is the point of the print.
